We pack the way the contents need: the right material for each item, the fragile things treated as fragile, and everything labelled so unpacking is straightforward at the other end.

You can have us pack everything, pack the delicate items only, or take quality materials and pack yourself.

Ways we pack

Full packing

The crew packs the whole home — usually the day before moving day — so the morning of the move is calm and everything is ready to load.

Fragile-only packing

We pack the things most likely to break — glass, china, mirrors, pictures, lamps and ornaments — and you handle the rest.

Unpacking & destination service

At the new home we unpack onto surfaces, reassemble furniture and take all the packing debris away, so you're not left with a hallway of empty boxes.

Export wrapping

Heavy-duty wrapping to international shipping standards, for moves travelling by sea or air.

Materials

Materials that protect

Good packing starts with good materials. We use double-wall boxes, purpose-made wardrobe cartons, mattress and sofa covers, bubble wrap and acid-free tissue for delicate items.

Materials are matched to what they're protecting — and for antiques and art we use acid-free and museum-grade materials rather than anything that could mark a finish. You can buy materials from us to pack yourself, with guidance on doing it well.

Furniture dismantling & reassembly

Large furniture that can't move whole — beds, wardrobes, big units — is taken apart and rebuilt at the new address. As we dismantle, we photograph and label every part and bag the fixings, so reassembly is an exact mirror of how it came apart. It's a small thing that saves a great deal of frustration at the other end.
